Welcome to the XFL!
The Excellent Football League is a 30 team, online simulation of the challenges of building a winning NFL franchise using Sierra's Football Pro '98 - the finest computer football game yet made. Our league was founded by FBPro programmer E.A. Gelat to be the finest football simulation on the internet as well as a showcase for his utility programs. In the XFL, owners build their franchise by making trades, signing free agents, drafting college players and managing their salary cap as well as designing plays, gameplans and coaching profiles. The XFL simulates every aspect of running a pro football franchise as owners compete for the Super Bowl and the Lombardi Trophy! It's better than fantasy football!

XFL NEWS
8/09/10: The XFL will "push the new season button" on Sunday, August 29th. For season 20 we are making some changes including divisional realign- ment and head to head play by mutual consent. The XFL is also suspending the salary cap for the 2015 season to simulate the NFL labor situation while we evaluate our options for the future. Our college draft will begin after Labor Day. There are still a few teams available! :)
